The Purposes Statement in the Retirement Planning Manual says this:
The purpose of this advanced presentation on personal finance is to provide the information necessary for you to create an educated retirement plan. Retirement goals should be an important part of everyone's financial plan. This lesson covers six chapters relating to various aspects of retirement planning. We hope that the skills learned in this course, when properly implemented, will provide a means by which you will enjoy financial security and stability for many years to come.
Participants download a PDF manual and go through it on their own. This is a supplement to the materials found in the Personal Finance Self-Reliance Manual.
Ensign College Scholarships

Project Management Institute Scholarships
PMI, Project Management Institute, is the international non-profit association for advancing the profession of project management. The PMI Northern Utah Chapter is offering three scholarships, $2000, $1000, and $500, to outstanding Utah students who demonstrate an interest in project management.

EnglishConnect
EnglishConnect is an English-language learning program designed to help members and nonmembers increase their English proficiency in a gospel-centered environment. It’s courses help learners act in faith to develop English skills, which can increase educational and vocational opportunities. EnglishConnect serves three main purposes:
The Leaders Guide below contains the instructions on how to organize and run an EnglishConnect program in the stake. Although some of the self-reliance materials are used, this program is not one of the four offerings of the Self-Reliance department, but is administered by the Church Education System. Pathway Worldwide
Here are some opportunities for those seeking education. BYU Pathway Worldwide program is an opportunity for people to start or return to school to obtain additional education. The document below provides some additional information.
In Pathway Worldwide, students participate in 3 semesters to obtain 15 credits. These credits can then be transferred to another learning institution, or used to continue their education with BYU-I online or Ensign College to obtain an Associate or Bachelor degree. After completing the first year of Pathway Worldwide, students can also participate in additional courses to obtain a job ready certificate. For those desiring, they can also receive a scholarship to continue their education at Ensign College. The Pathway Scholarship is available to incoming domestic Ensign College students who complete the standard version of the PathwayConnect program in the United States with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
